IIFA 2016: All The Best Beauty Looks From The Red Carpet
I won’t be lying if I said that I’ve spent the better part of my weekend stalking celebrities on social media. A lot of my favourite peeps were in Spain for the IIFA Awards 2016, and honestly, I’d give an arm and a leg to be in bright and sunny Madrid right now. While that does not look remotely possible, I think I’ll have to be content with lurking on Instagram. Meanwhile, here’s my round-up of some kickass hair and makeup looks from last night:
Aditi Rao Hydari
Makeup artist Elton J Fernandez played up Aditi Rao Hydari’s elfin beauty by giving the most romantic flick to her eyeliner, along with highly strobed skin and berry lips. Loved the addition of the headband to her low pony, styled in shaggy waves.

Deepika Padukone
Fierce was the memo for Deepika Padukone’s hair and makeup, and makeup artist Daniel Bauer did not disappoint. After the edgy graphic eye makeup and faux mohawk from the previous day, Deepika went for a gothic black smoky eye look. Her hair was styled in a sleek, super-shiny low ponytail with a deep centre part. It reminded me of her look at the GQ Men Of The Year Awards last year.
Dia Mirza
In a sea of smoky eyes and statement lips, Dia Mirza stood out with her minimalist approach to makeup. She wore her hair in an elegant updo and had on the prettiest coral lipstick.

Nargis Fakhri kept things neat and clean with her sleek low pony and neutral makeup.
Neha Dhupia
Neha Dhupia looked gloriously tan, especially against her white ensemble. She wore her hair in an updo that had a rockabilly vibe and finished off her look with winged tip eyeliner.

Priyanka Chopra
Priyanka Chopra wore her hair in a chic low-do which she paired with dark smoky eyes and deep berry lips. Priyanka favours berry-coloured lipsticks. See the proof here and here.
Shilpa Shetty Kundra
In keeping with the aesthetics of her ivory gown, Shilpa Shetty’s makeup was an all-brown look right from her smoky eye to her lipstick.
Sonkashi Sinha
Sonakshi Sinha looked like a million bucks with her bronzed skin, black winged eyeliner and a classic deep red lipstick.
Huma Qureshi
Huma wore a dark smoky eye to go with her fierce black outfit. She wore her hair straight, sleek and tucked behind the ears.
Bipasha Basu
Bipasha Basu looked beautiful in a voluminous updo. She kept things chic with a cat eye, salmon pink lipstick and just a flush of colour on her cheeks.
Bhumi Pednekar
Bhumi Pednekar rocked oxblood lipstick and wonderfully highlighted skin. She glowed in just the right way. Full points for the sleek, straight hair.
