Before you begin, you’re going to need a wide-toothed comb to style your hair and ensure the product is applied all over your hair along with a hair gel, hair cream, hair gloss spray and hairspray. The hair gel leps give you a wet sleek look while hair cream or mousse adds more definition to give your hair a smooth finish. The hair gloss spray helps achieve the shine you need for the wet hair look while the hairspray holds your hairstyle in place for a long time. So, how do you create this look? After washing your hair and following your usual hair care routine and towel drying your hair, follow the steps below to style them into the wet hair look.

For Straight Hair: Start by applying lightweight hair oil to protect your hair and follow it up with a mixture of hair gel and hair cream. Apply this mixture from the roots to the tips of your hair. Make sure to smoothen your hair against your scalp for a sleek look like Rakul Preet Singh. For a lifted look like Tamannaah Bhatia, you can push your hair ahead and avoid smoothening your hair against the scalp. Mix more cream than gel in this mix. Comb your hair to ensure that any baby hair sticks down for a clean look.

For Curly/Wavy Hair: Apply some hair oil followed by a mixture of hair gel and cream but remember to use more cream than gel and try to straighten your hair as much as possible with the product. Use the comb to ensure that there are no lumps of product and to smoothen your hair for a cleaner look.
