The Trick To Getting Gorgeous Beach Waves

Kareena-Kapoor-Makeup-Hair-866x487

It’s that time of the year when the sweltering heat wears me down and the only thing I can think is — BEACH VACAY! And our fashion writer Simi Kuriakose isn’t helping matters with her curation of chic and affordable swimsuits. However, I don’t see the possibility of taking a vacation anytime soon, so I’ve settled for the next best thing — beachy waves!

I’ve always loved loose, boho waves over tight ringlets. Obviously, Parineeti Chopra’s tousled waves are beachy boho waves goals. If you love this laidback style as well, here’s a fool-proof way to get them.

1. Wrap little sections of your hair around a curling iron like you normally would while curling them. Leave the ends out to get that messy boho effect.

2. When you release your hair from the iron, pull it out straight for a few seconds until it cools down. This way you won’t let the curl pattern set in deeply. What you’ll have instead is a relaxed wave with mild bends that look like you actually went to the beach.

3. Don’t bother touching up your curls until you wash them next. The more they unravel, the messier and boho they will look.

Here are some of the best curling irons you can buy right now:

Torlen TOR CS05 22 mm Hair Curler (Rs 1,799)
