Every time I sit down to write about a trend, it seems like we just can’t catch a break from glitter and shimmer, right? But if you think that means I’m getting fed up, think again! We’ve had a good decade rocking super matte looks, so the shinier, the better, I believe! Right from Anita Dongre’s finalé at the Lakmé Fashion Week Summer-Resort 2017 to the many shows that took place over the last 2 days of the event, we saw celebrities and models looking fresh in shimmer and glitter eye makeup looks.
1. Anushree Reddy
Champagne-coloured lids dominated the runway during the Anushree Reddy show.
The shimmer lids were combined with a dewy look and soft, pink lips.
2. Anita Dongre
The grand finalé was all about that dewy look and rosy lip too!
Showstopper Kareena Kapoor Khan and the models walking the ramp wore a bold gold lid with shadow highlighting the inner corner of the eye for a bright and awake look!
3. Divya Reddy
Malaika Arora also wore glitter lids with a bare face on the runway, as she walked for Divya Reddy.
Wearing glitter lids with heavy mascara really makes your eyes look bigger. They’ll stand out against your face.
4. House Of Kotwara
Some of the models had star glitter particles stuck to their brow bones.
Lids glistened like the Sunita Shekhawat accessories that accompanied the House Of Kotwara clothes for this show.
Gold was applied as underliner to showstopper Aditi Rao Hydari’s eyes.
5. Amit GT Haute Couture
Specks of glitter adorned the models’ lids on the Amit GT Haute Couture runway.
The glitter was applied on top of a subtle smokey look that gave the eye makeup a 3D effect.
