Here’s How You Can Get Sarah Jane Dias’ Curly Faux Bob

We spotted Sarah Jane Dias looking very chic at the recent Furla event, where the Italian brand unveiled its limited edition India exclusive clutch Maaya in association with Grazia India. The Zubaan actress looked dainty in her beaded Emporio Armani dress, but it would be criminal to not mention her pretty faux bob. IMO, it’s her hair that really elevated the look. Keeping everything else simple and understated except for the berry lip was a great idea too.

We previously spotted Kalki Koechlin sporting a faux bob when she walked the ramp as the showstopper for designer Mayyur R Girotra’s cocktail collection. But there’s a world of difference between Kalki’s do and Sarah’s more easy-going style. I had also written how you can work a beautiful Great Gatsby-ish faux bob for the party season, and Sarah’s look was also very 1920s Flapper Girl-inspired. Which means this is a versatile hairstyle that works both during the day and at night and can be worn for any occasion.

It is a relatively easy hairstyle and one that does not require a high level of expertise to achieve the same. It doesn’t matter if you have mid-length or really long hair, the faux bob can be done on any hair length.

Here’s an easy tutorial to help you achieve the same look:

I like that the blogger here demonstrates two ways to get the faux bob. There’s the sleek version, with blowdried/straightened hair and then there’s the second one for which she adds some intense curls. The curly version is more like Sarah’s. If you want to skip the sleeker bob altogether, start watching from 0:54 seconds instead.
