The TONI&GUY team in the US partnered with celebrity stylist, Michael Silva, to create Kim Kardashian West’s hair look for this year’s MET Gala.
Creating a #HairFirstFashion statement, Kim Kardashian West wore her bold and sleek hair in a gorgeous lob, created by the hair stylist.
The long bob or lob is a trend that swept us off our feet a while ago, but celebrities are clearly not over it. We caught up with Michael, who broke down Kim Kardashian’s sleek and straight lob exclusively for Hauterfly in just 2 steps.
STEP 1: PREP
Begin by parting your wet hair in the centre and apply a little serum on to it. Post that, roughly dry your hair out, while brushing it with a flat brush.
“It has a little bit of weight to it — kind of like primer for your hair,” Michael explains.

STEP 2: STYLE
After prepping your hair, section it out and spritz some heat protector spray. Taking each section of your mane, dry it with a flat brush and add some hairspray to hold it. In order to keep your hair straight, top up the blow-dried sections with a straightening iron, and finish off with a shine spray, just to give it that sleek, shiny look!
