Get Sonam Kapoor’s Classic Makeup Look From The Vogue WOTY Awards

GTL-Sonam Kapoor_Featured_Hauterfly

Sonam Kapoor recently won the VOGUE India Woman Of The Year Award for Fashion Icon Of The Year, and rightfully so! We couldn’t agree more. But the devil is in the details and a look is never complete without makeup to go with it.

So, here’s how you can mimic Sonam’s classic winged liner and red lip look.

Bam! How gorgeous does she look? Just goes to show that you can never go wrong with the classics.

Maybelline New York Fashion Brow Duo Shaper (Rs 255)

1. Brows

First and foremost, do your brows and frame your face, because no matter how flawless everything else is, it won’t look good without bold brows.

Clinique Lid Pop – Cream Pop (Rs 1,500)

2. Shadow

Next, use your middle or ring finger to dab some cream shadow onto your lids and a little into your crease, for dimension. This should be a neutral shade, without too much frost or shimmer. We want that mild shine and shimmer effect Sonam has going on.

Maybelline New York Hyper Glossy Liquid Liner (Rs 276)

3. Liners

Draw a thin line across your lids, into and a little above your lash line. Then extend a small wing outwards, at the outer corner. Build that up by drawing another diagonal line to connect to the tip of the wing and back to the outer corner of your lids.

For a thinner wing, connect the two lines directly before the tip of the first line, so the end is super thin. Then, bring a little liner down towards the outer half of your lower lash line.

Ardell Natural Strip Lashes – 108 Demi Black (Rs 374)

4. Lashes

False lashes are a must for this look. Go for something semi-natural, but still va-va-voom, you know what I mean? The classic looks is all about glamour. Of course, do apply mascara either before or after you apply lashes, to ensure your natural lashes merge and blend with your falsies.

Maybelline New York Color Show Lipstick Choco-Latte-313 (Rs 254)

5. Lips

Fill your lips, completely, with a deep brick-red hue. It should feel elegant and have that red carpet star quality. To amplify the colour, just dab a little concealer or foundation on moisturised lips, prior to applying the lipstick.
