Get The Look: Priyanka Chopra Matched Her Lips To Her Eyes At The Emmy’s

Priyanka Chopra Emmy 2017 makeup

It’s safe to say that Priyanka Chopra is not a new face to Hollywood anymore and she has definitely made a mark with Quantico and Baywatch. Keeping aside her acting and of course her confidence-driven interviews, her red carpet looks also undoubtedly stand out — and it’s the same with this year’s Emmy Awards.

Spotted in a sparkly Balmain gown, Piggy Chops opted for a makeup look that was minimalistic, yet edgy. How so? Well, keeping her base fresh and almost nude, the focus this year was on a bold lip that actually matched her eyes!

Giving the good ol’ classic smokey eye a break, MUA Patti Du Broff chose a bold plum-meets-purple matte lip — and a similar shimmery colour was applied on her eyes.

We’re so glad she went for the pull-back ponytail and mini bouffant, as it simply allowed the focus to stay on her makeup without taking anything away from her gorgeous gown.

Easy to recreate, PC’s matchy-matchy makeup is one you’d want to take inspiration from. And we’ve made it so much easier for you — scroll down to see how!

FACE

As we’ve mentioned above, the face has been kept very subtle, yet super fresh. After priming your skin properly, apply a thin layer of a sheer foundation that leaves your skin a little matte, yet glowing.

Lightly contour your cheeks, adding a slight highlight and blush to the high points of your cheekbones. Blend, blend, blend!

Your base is complete once you dust on a little bit of translucent powder to set your face — and voila! You’re done.

EYES

The eyes are quite simple and easy to do. All you need is one hero product to pull the look together!

Taking a pinkish-plum pigment, dust it on to your eyelids and blend properly to create a gradual shading. With an angular brush, apply the same colour on the lower lash line and blend it out with your finger. Make sure to clean up the excess fallout under your eyes.

Once your eye shadow looks like it’s on point, simply line your upper lash line with some kajal to define your eyes further.

Apply some mascara and your eyelids are ready to flutter!

LIPS

The boldest part of the look (yet the easiest) are the lips. Line your lips with a plum red liner and fill in for more definition. If you want to create fuller PC-esque lips, simply apply a little concealer to the centre, before lining.

Layer on a lipstick hue that has a purple tinge to it — colour it over your liner and blend with fingers. Adjust the shades accordingly to get it just like Priyanka.

Pucker up and pout!
