Did You Know THESE 4 Makeup Looks Are Now Considered Skinny Jeans Of Beauty World?

Genz’s have officially taken over the world when it comes to fashion, beauty and more. If you are not living under a rock then you probably know how ankle socks, skinny jeans and stilettos are so out of fashion according to GenZ. If you are a teen from the era of 2009-2014 like me, then you probably must know how crucially important were these things for us, having been wearing them for years back then. But did you know that skinny jeans for beauty just don’t stop on winged eyeliner? Here are 5 more makeup looks, getting side-eyed by Genzs,

What is Skinny Jeans for Beauty?

For the unversed, skinny jeans were literally thrown out of the fashion world by GenZ at the start of 2020. Ever since then if you are caught wearing one, you definitely would be getting crazy side-eyes and would also be considered a ‘cringe millennial’. And just like that, winged eyeliners which were all the rage in the 2010s are not in trend anymore but rather are considered outdated.

5 Makeup Looks That Are Considered Skinny Jeans Of Beauty World

1) Winged Eyeliner – Starting with the most obvious and common makeup look, the winged eyeliners. Winged eyeliners have always been a favourite among girls starting from the 80s and 90s when they had a more over dramatic look. While in the 2000s almost every other actress on-screen was wearing the much-loved liquid-winged eyeliners. But come 2020 when the whole world was going through a beauty evolution, winged eyeliners were suddenly out and eyeshadow eyeliners were in, mostly because they gave a very subtle barely noticeable look, which I won’t lie I do love. So the next time you want to camouflage with the GenZs make sure you’re using a black eyeshadow eyeliner.

2) Brow Pomades – Barely there makeup or no-makeup makeup look is here to stay and that too for a long time. A favourite makeup look of the 2010s was using brow pomades for a thick brow look, initially popularised by the US makeup brand Anastasia Beverly Hills. Thanks to GenZs for ousting us on having brow blindness, because honestly now that we look back at those pictures with heavy brows, I for sure do cringe out and would never again use brow pomades. An alternative the GenZs have come up is to keep your brows natural or use a tinted soft mascara to fill in the gaps.

3) Shimmery Cut Creases – Another skinny jeans of the beauty world are shimmer cut creases. If you don’t know what that is then think eye-popping colours like bright orange, green, and pink on the eyelids paired with the most brightest glitter eyeshadow together creating a (now deemed as hideous) very dramatic look. Cut to 2020, girls now love doing glitter eye looks with products that are not too harsh and offer a very sheer and wet look.

4) Overdone under-eye concealers – NGL, the 2010 era of contour and highlight had all the girls in a chokehold. Everyone no matter if they could or not, did contours and highlighted with concealers. Contouring and highlighting is no easy feat and when you don’t do it properly it can result in an unblended look which nobody and I mean nobody wants. GenZs now are all about showing their natural beauty and owning their imperfections, which honestly is a much-needed breath of fresh air. Now don’t forget to ditch the full-coverage concealers and show off your real skin.
