I’ve been rather pleasantly surprised to see a number of actresses sporting twists and braids recently, especially since my diatribe a few weeks ago about how it was the most underrated hairstyle ever.
And after giving us a super chic Fall-appropriate look only two days ago, Deepika Padukone channeled a beachy, playful vibe with her appearance while promoting her film Tamasha yesterday.
Bombshell waves like hers make me want to reach for my texturising spray and head to the beach. After all, who doesn’t love big, bouncy hair! Here’s how you can achieve this look:
Spritz a texturising spray at the roots to create volume, then wrap sections of your hair in a curler with a 1.5-inch barrel. Don’t have the patience to curl your entire hair? Try this hack. Then part your hair in the centre and start rolling it into twists starting at your temples. Secure them at the back with bobby pins.
