Two years ago, the man responsible for the world’s hottest red soles set our pulse racing when he introduced a beauty line. I’m talking about Christian Louboutin’s Louboutin Beaute.
While the price of his shoes can max out most credit cards, you can still get a taste of the brand via the cosmetics range — they’re expensive, no doubt, but you won’t feel *totally* broke buying something. And what started off with just a bottle of the most gorgeous red nail polish, moved to 38 shades of matte lipsticks in the coolest packaging you’ve ever seen.
Most recently, the brand launched a line of high shine lippies called Loubilaque. The lipstick comes in a transparent vial with an applicator and like the previous ones, it can be worn as an accessory around your neck. Set to be released in July, it will be available in 8 shades and priced at Rs. 6,000 (approx) a pop.
Ladies, don’t hold your breath, these babies won’t be available in the country just yet. But if you do have a relative or friend abroad who owes you a birthday present, you know what to ask for!
