Brow Carving Is The New Eyebrow Trend To Take Over The Internet!

Brow Carving Trend_Featured_Hauterfly

Brows have become a form of art. It isn’t just about well-done brows or full brows anymore. Trends like glitter brows and feather brows have taken things to the next level. So it’s no surprise that we’re seeing new, more polarising brow trends.

The internet may not know how to feel about this, and frankly, I haven’t made up my mind either, but it’s definitely cool to look at. Here’s reporting the brow carving trend!

Makeup artist Alexa Link first created this brow look, birthing the brow carving eyebrow art trend. She first posted an image of the look in April, but has recreated the look multiple times since.

The trend is about creating a line that mimics the outer half of your brows. Of course, on-fleek brows are a prerequisite to this look. The sharp line can be created using anything from a brow or eye pencil to eyeshadow.

You can then further build the look by blending the line out, using a coordinating colour for a smokey effect. Alexa’s look caught on and many beauty bloggers on Instagram started posting their own versions of the look.

Look at that ombré version, for example. The carving trend is all about getting crazy with your brows!

The trend tends to highlight the sharpness of the outer half of your brows.

Beauty blogger Holly uses flowers and glitter to adorn her brow carvings.

It just really makes you wonder, what brow art are we going to see next?

#HauteTip: If you’re looking to recreate these looks, but can’t get such sharp lines, just cut and paste pieces of tape around your brows as a stencil!
