Summer is often reminiscent of cool blue water and beaches. In keeping with that, one of the biggest beauty trends from Spring-Summer 2018 is the blue smokey eye! Even Kim Kardashian added it to her latest eyeshadow collection.
For those of you who find a blue smokey eye rather intimidating, Hesha Chimah from team Hauterfly is breaking it down for you!
STEP 1: Use concealer to prime your lids.
STEP 2: Set the concealer using powder.
STEP 3: Contour your lids using a light brown shade in the crease.
STEP 4: Shape your eyes using a dark brown shade in the outer corner of your eyes.
STEP 5: Using a flat eyeshadow brush, dust blue eyeshadow on your lids.
STEP 6: Build up the colour with a dark blue eyeshadow.
STEP 7: Blend it all, using a fluffy blending brush.
STEP 8: To add some more drama, layer the look with glittery shadow.
STEP 9: Curl your lashes, and open up those peepers!
STEP 10: Top the look off with a generous coat of mascara!
