5 Luxury Skincare Products That Are Actually Worth The Splurge!

Website- Recovery Products

If my skin had a voice and was dramatic, I am pretty sure it would be huddled in a corner right now, groaning under the weight of the foundation, concealer and eyeshadow I have been wearing. Because it’s the festive season, we all tend to go pretty heavy handed with our makeup. We want full coverage foundation, we are colour-correcting, we are concealing, and if we have the time, we are going all out with that smokey eye. So obviously, my skin that has till now been on its nicest behaviour has been craving some TLC. I mean, I get home, take off my makeup, practically lunge for the bed and don’t do anything to unclog my pores, extract the dirt and grime, and mostly, I am not even up for a night cream.

If you are anything like me and your skin is crying out loud for the want of some pampering, then we have 5 products that are actually worth the splurge. Think of this as investment in your skin. These are on the expensive side, yes, but they are efficient, amazing and worth every penny you will spend. Read up and save up to get these.

Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm (Rs 2950)

Of course you are thinking, why do I need to spend so much on a product that takes off my makeup? But take a dollop of this cleansing balm and you will know exactly why. This one starts off solid and as you emulsify it, it liquifies gently, lifting off your makeup, down to the most waterproof one of them and leaves your skin feeling clean, but not dry.

Forest Essentials Lip Scrub (Rs 500)

You’ve been subjecting your lips to matte, long stay matte and glittery lipsticks. Obviously, your pout could use some love. And one way to show it is to use a lip scrub that will exfoliate gently and still take off the dead skin. Then, go on with a lip balm so your lips can take the onslaught of your lipsticks.

Glamglow Supermud Clearing Treatment (Rs 1600)

When your skin is squeaky clean, go on and generously apply this Hollywood-approved face mask. You’ll feel it tingle, but that’s just this one doing its job. This one will go deep inside and literally vacuum out all the dirt from inside your pores. In fact, this is all you need to make your skin feel better.

Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate (Rs 3650)

When you are hitting your bed to catch up on your Zzzs (which btw, is great for your skin!), generously work in this serum that smells like lavender. This product comes with a bunch of skin-loving goodness and your skin will thank you for it. This will be the best money you’ve spent.

L’Occitane Immortelle Precious Eye Balm (Rs 3050)

If your concealer does all the heavy duty lifting, then your under eye area is probably also clogged with the makeup. At the end of the day, when you’ve taken it off, treat the area around your eyes to some major loving with this eye balm that will make you look like you’ve slept for way more than 4 hours.
