Golden Globes Beauty Looks_Featured_Hauterfly

After giving you a lowdown on the red carpet looks and hairdos at the 2017 Golden Globe Awards, we’re now decoding 5 of the biggest beauty trends of the night. Who’s on our list? Everyone from our very own PC to Mandy Moore and Blake Lively. Which trend makes it to your favorites list?

1. Dark-Hued Lips

We told you this was going to be big in 2017, didn’t we? Here’s everyone who wore the look. Of course, Priyanka Chopra’s our favorite!

Kerry Washington slays, as per usual, with this deep, wine lip!

And then there’s Lily Collins wearing that eye-catching, dark red!

Brie Larson matched her outfit to her lips. The red on red looks stunning!

2. Shimmer Shadow

Maise Williams from Game Of Thrones really brought it with her shimmery, golden shadow look.

Gina Rodriguez from my favorite show, Jane The Virgin, looked stunning in a dewy skin look with a pop of silver shadow!

Charlotte Tilbury used a whole lot of silver eyeshadow to complete Nicole Kidman’s winter-appropriate look.

3. Pink-Nude Lips

Neutral pinks were all the rage on the Golden Globes red carpet. Emma Stone, who’s getting a lot of recognition for La La Land, wore a rosy flesh-tone on her lips.

Mario Dedivanovic worked his magic on the beautiful Naomi Harris and he completed her look with a subtle pink that’s great for brown skin tones.

Reese Witherspoon looked like a true Hollywood icon with her subtle makeup and sparkling jewels. That is some real #nofilter!

4. Bronzed Lids

Bronzed lids were a major trend on the red carpet at the 2017 Golden Globes. Blake Lively’s look consisted of a gorgeous wash of bronze shadow paired with flesh-toned pink lips. That’s two trends in one! And we wouldn’t expect anything less from her.

Oliva Culpo did the bronze eyes with a vampy twist and it’s making me want to give this look a try myself.

Emily Ratajkowski rocked the bronze eye look too, but with an orange touch.

5) Prominent Under Eyes

Whether it’s false lashes or bold liner, the concentration is always on our lids, but this awards season. It was all about bold under eyes. Drew Barrymore had some major under eye kohl and lashes happening.

Mandy Moore applied a jewel-toned shade across her waterline, leaving the top lid fairly bare.

Felicity Jones also applied a heavy white in her lower lash line for a big, bright-eyed look.
