5 DIY Face Masks To Whip Up From Kitchen Ingredients For That Bridal Glow!

Getting glowing skin using highlighters is possible, but what if you don’t want to fall back on your trusty beauty products?! You know, you want that glow from within and all that. Glowing skin without any makeup is not as far-fetched as it may seem. And no, we aren’t talking about the glow of oily skin. Here, we give you 5 face masks that you can whip up in a jiffy with ingredients at home. And you can skip the highlighter and get glowing skin naturally.

1. Oatmeal Face Mask

Blend some oatmeal and add hot water to it. As the paste thickens add a little bit of honey, lemon juice, milk and mix it well. An oatmeal mask has a drying effect on skin and absorbs extra oil and tightens your pores. Apply this paste evenly on your face, when the facial mask completely dries and tightens around your skin, rinse it with lukewarm water. Say hello to the glow!

2. Strawberry Face Mask

Mash a few strawberries with a hand blender and add some honey to the mixture. Honey helps lighten skin tone and it cleans the pores, which will leave your skin glowing. Apply this face mask on for 15 minutes and rinse it off with lukewarm water. Dab on a little toner to close your pores and your skin will thank you for it by glowing so bright you’ll blind the wedding guests.

3. Besan Face Mask For Glowing Skin

Create a paste using besan (gram flour), milk cream, and some lemon juice. add some water if necessary, to create a paste. Apply this paste on your face and neck, and leave it on for 20 minutess. Rinse with cool water and you’re good to go. Hand out sunglasses because nobody is going to be able to withstand that glow without some protection!

4. Avocado Face Mask

Mix mashed ripe avocado with a teaspoon of yoghurt and few drops of lemon juice. Avocado is rich in potassium and it nourishes the skin and helps maintain its glow. Apply the mixture all over the face and wash with cold water after 20 minutes. This face mask can be stored in an airtight jar, if made in a larger quantity. It is recommended that you do not eat this.

5. Cucumber Face Mask

As easy as it sounds, this can work wonders to give you the glow you want. Grate some cucumber and blend it into a paste. Apply it on your face for 15 minutes and wash it off. Moisturise as usual and you’re all set to show off your glowing skin.
