5 Of The Best Makeup Looks From The Sansui Stardust Awards

By  |

Last night, Mumbai was host to the 2017 Sansui Stardust Awards. As per usual, we looked to the red carpet, as Bollywood stars graced us with charisma, flowing gowns, style, and fluttering lashes. I, of course, was looking to the makeup and boy, I was not disappointed! Let’s start with my favorite one first?

1. Jacqueline Fernandez

For a close-up on Jacqueline’s eyes, because that’s the highlight of this look, check this out. Her makeup was by Daniel Bauer.

Firstly, major falsies alert! You can’t do a look this bold without some false lashes.

Once you’ve got the falsies, you’re also going to need some lash glue.

Use the lash glue, not only to apply the lashes, but also to stick on glitter and rhinestones to your lashes à la Jacqueline! Finish the lash look with lots of mascara to make sure your falsies look well blended.

2. Priyanka Chopra

While there was nothing too bold about her look, Priyanka really knows how to slay a red carpet. I loved her lip colour, in particular. This nude-ish, subdued shade of brown is one of my favorites! PC’s wearing a crayon or lipstick that doesn’t give full coverage.

3. Anushka Sharma

While I love this look on Anushka Sharma, maybe it’s time to shake things up a bit, from the no-makeup makeup looks? But till then, do you notice what she’s done with her eyes…aside from the mascara, of course? She’s blended out a tiny amount of kohl in the outer corner of her lower lash line. She’s also used a pencil to tightline her eyes (adding kohl to the upper water line) and she’s very slightly lined the outer half of her lids, just along the lash line.

4. Sonam Kapoor

This head-to-toe look is that of a B-Town princess. Her soft, feminine makeup look by Namrata Soni boasts of winged liner, false lashes, and an electric pink lipstick.

5. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

The reigning queen of Bollywood may switch up her lip colour ever so often, but she’s stuck to that classing winged liner for as long as I can remember. It’s rare to see Aishwarya without shapely lined lids and a small upward flick at the end. If you’re trying to achieve this look, remember to start with the flick, then line your eyes from out to in and make the line thinner and thinner as you reach the inner corner.
