10 Of The Best Makeup Looks From The Jio Filmfare 2017

Best beauty looks Filmfare_Featured_Hauterfly

Awards season is here all over again — wow…times flies, doesn’t it? The big 1-7 brings with it an onslaught of new beauty trends, trends our A-list ladies are ready to slay! But then again, sometimes a classic smokey just does the trick. I’m a sucker for experimentation and that’s what the red carpet is for, right? Each look is a new avatar and these are the 10 ladies that brought their best to the Jio Filmfare Awards 2017. Kudos to their makeup artists!

1. Sonakshi Sinha

Sonakshi paired a minimal eye look, made of just luscious lashes, with the trend of the year — oxblood lips. And major shoutout to that quirky updo. Got to love a girl that knows how to have fun!

2. Pooja Hegde

The Mohenjo Daro lead actress rocked a black dress with a dark smokey eye. But hold up, it wasn’t just your regular smokey eye; this one’s a cat smokey, adding a feline feel to the look.

3. Jacqueline Fernandez

Jacqueline’s go-to makeup artist, Shaan Muttathil, gave her a classic winged liner, a fresh base, and neutral-pink lips. But really, when you look like Jacqueline… do you need anything else?

4. Sonam Kapoor

Sonam Kapoor wore a crease-defining, bold eye. Her MUA, Mitali Vakil, also put a deep, red hue on her lips. Can I say it — this trend seems to be catching on like fire.

5. Alia Bhatt

Alia sported pulled-back hair, full brows, and rosy cheeks in a look that stole our hearts! The best actress winner also wins our best makeup award.

6. Saiyami Kher

Saiyami turned heads with this subtle, barely-there makeup look. Her brow and cheekbone highlight only further accentuated her beautiful face.

7. Preity Zinta

Preity also kept it fresh in a sunshine dress and bright makeup. Her eyes were well-defined by liner and full lashes.

8. Esha Gupta

She slays, as usual, in this matte pink pout and a bronze eye makeup look.

9. Parineeti Chopra

What do you know? It looks like the cat smokey eye was a hot trend on the Filmfare red carpet.

10. Richa Chadha

Post-holiday blues? Richa’s makeup is giving us the winter holiday vibes and we aren’t complaining! She’s paired glossy red lips with silver and grey smokey eyes.
